LUCKY TO HAVE A LOCAL FARMER
Consider yourself lucky to have a local farmer who can provide your dietary needs. As transportation systems are over-whelmed and grocery shelves are becoming sparsely populated, you are lucky to have a local farmer who can support your needs.
The number of small local farms has been diminishing as mega-farming operations grow and foreign investors have been buying the farm lands. During these times, as our transportation of remote products is being impacted, it becomes more important to have a local source for your food. It also builds your community by buying from local sources.
Are you supporting your local farmer? Is there a special product you love from your local farmer? We would like to highlight that product on social media with a picture or video of your farmer and the special product. Tag us in your Instagram and/or Facebook post, along with a short caption detailing the product and its benefits; don’t forget to tag your farmer too! The top three photos will receive $150 for first place, $75 for second place, and one book of your choice from our website for third place. This contest ends March 21st, and be sure to follow and tag us on @f2cfnd on both Facebook and Instagram.

A shamrock (three-leaf clover) is the traditional symbol of Saint Patrick’s Day. The history behind this symbol is that St. Patrick depicted the Holy Trinity within the clover. Just like the four-leaf clover, the shamrock also grants the beholder with good luck.
