The Huffington Post published an article on 12/09/2015 that discusses a new analysis that finds potentially transformative agricultural research isn’t getting the level of funding it probably should.

One has to remember two important concerns the article did not mention. The banks may not lend the money for crops or crop rotations that are “not proven” and the report details long term effects of diverse rotation which cannot be seen in the next quarter return on investment. Biology takes time to produce results, chemicals are immediate return on investment though long term detriment to the bottom line of our soils.
